Survivors Security Line

The chart below is drawn to represent your LIFE LINE. It begins NOW at the left and extends into your future toward the right.  Above this line is drawn your Survivors' Security Line.  This represents the assets needed, in the event of your death, to provide your family with the necessary income.  It is highest NOW and decreases as time passes.

Survivors Security

For example, 10 years from today, your children will be 10 years older.  Therefore, they're 10 years closer to be self-supported.  Your spouse will be 10 years older and will have 10 years' worth of living expenses already paid. 

For these reasons, the need for Survivors' Security decreases with each passing year.
