Talk to your banker about getting a loan for the amount of your credit card balance. You should be able to get a lower interest rate than the credit card company is charging. Use this money to eliminate your credit card debt. Then, make a solemn vow NEVER to fall into that trap again.

A word of caution... once your credit card debt is eliminated, there may be a strong temptation to go shopping to celebrate. Fight it! Just because the credit card balance is zero, doesn't mean you're debt-free... yet. You still have to pay for the bank loan. Consider paying off this loan as fast as you can by making extra payments or by making payments equal to the interest rate you were paying on your credit card.
